Happy October
I recently saw a post on Facebook from Matt Beaudreau that was shared on the group, Mommy Memes. It started with “I would die for my child”. He goes on to say, “I believe you. But would you live for them? Would you get yourself healthy? Would you eliminate distractions? Would you lead more intentionally? You’d only have to die once. You have to live every day.”
We tend to sacrifice ourselves for our jobs. We tend to put ourselves last when tending to our families. Is that really in our best interests? Are we so distracted by social media that we are not present with our children and others that we hold dear. If you were given a few days to live, what would you focus on?
Living with intention takes effort. Tending to yourself so you can be better for your loved ones is not selfish but rather a necessity for their survival.
Take the time to exercise. Take the time to prepare healthy and nutritious meals. Take the time to sleep. Take the time to pray and focus on the positive. Take the time to see your chiropractor so you can function at your best.
Yes, it all takes effort. You’re worth it. Your family is worth it. You would die for them. I invite you to live for them.
See you on your next visit.
